Directions to Campingplatz Sauer-Our in Wallendorf

By car:

From the North (Cologne/Bonn):

1. Take the A1 southbound to exit 114-Bitburg.
2. Take the B51 towards Bitburg
3. Then take the A60 towards Luxembourg/Trier/Bitburg
4. Leave the A60 at exit 6 towards Bitburg/Luxembourg B51
5. Then take the B257 (signs for Luxembourg/Bitburg, E29)
6. Leave the E29 shortly before the border towards Bitburger Straße signs (Körperich/Bollendorf/Echternacherbrück)
7. Take the third exit (Bitburger Str.) at the roundabout
8. At the next roundabout, take the first exit towards Bollendorfer Straße signs (Körperich/Bollendorf)
9. In Bollendorf, turn left at the sign for Bollendorf Pont to cross the bridge and the border into Luxembourg.
10. Then turn right onto the Roue de Diekirch N10 (signs for Diekirch).
11. Once you reach Wallendorf Pont, turn right again to cross the bridge and the border into Germany.
12. At the end of the bridge, turn left and drive past the ‘Zum Häffchen’ restaurant, then turn left into the road leading to our campsite, Sauer-Our, at Ourtalstraße 1A.

From the South (Trier):

1. Take the B51 northbound until the Ralingen Olk exit.
2. Then turn right towards Ralingen Olk.
3. Take the second exit (Bitburger Str.) at the roundabout.
4. At the next roundabout, take the first exit towards Bollendorfer Straße (signs for Körperich/Bollendorf).
5. In Bollendorf, turn left at the sign (Bollendorf Pont) to cross the bridge and the border into Luxembourg.
6. Then turn right onto the road Roue de Diekirch N10 (signs for Diekirch).
7. Once you reach Wallendorf Pont, turn right again to cross the bridge and the border into Germany.
8. At the end of the bridge, turn left and drive past the ‘Zum Häffchen’ restaurant, then turn left into the road leading to our campsite, Sauer-Our, at Ourtalstraße 1A.

From the West (Luxembourg):

1. Take the A1 in Luxembourg heading north until you reach the Echternach exit (signposted Ettelbrueck/Echternach/A7/E29).
2. Then take exit no. 1 towards Echternach (Echternach/Junglinster/Dommeldange/E29).
3. Once you reach Echternach, turn left onto the N10 (Diekirch Bollendorf P.).
4. Once you reach Wallendorf Pont, turn right again to cross the bridge and the border into Germany.
5. At the end of the bridge, turn left and drive past the ‘Zum Häffchen’ restaurant, then turn left into the street leading to our campsite, Sauer-Our, at Ourtalstraße 1A.

From the East (Koblenz):

. Take the A48 westbound.
2. At Mehren, take the A1 signs (Saarbrücken/Luxembourg/Trier). 3. At the Wittlich junction, take the A60 signs (Liège/Bitburg/Wittlich-West). Follow the B257 until you reach the B51 and continue south towards Bitburg.
4. Then leave the A60 via exit no. 6 towards Bitburg/Luxemburg B51.
5. Then take the B257 (signs for Luxemburg/Bitburg, E29)
6. Leave the E29 shortly before the border towards Bitburger Straße signs (Körperich/Bollendorf/Echternacherbrück)
7. Take the third exit (Bitburger Str.) at the roundabout.
8. At the next roundabout, take the first exit towards Bollendorfer Straße (signposted Körperich/Bollendorf).
9. In Bollendorf, turn left (signposted Bollendorf Pont) to cross the bridge and the border into Luxembourg.
10. Then turn right onto Roue de Diekirch N10 (signs for Diekirch).
11. Once you reach Wallendorf Pont, turn right again to cross the bridge and the border into Germany.
12. At the end of the bridge, turn left and drive past the ‘Zum Häffchen’ restaurant, then turn left into the road leading to our campsite, Sauer-Our, at Ourtalstraße 1A.

By public transport:

We recommend travelling by bus and train via Luxembourg, as public transport is completely free and very convenient.

By bus and train:

1. Take the train to Diekirch (Luxembourg) station.
2. From there, take bus line 190 towards Echternach Gare and get off at the Wallendorf Pont stop. The journey takes approx. 20 minutes.
3. Once you arrive in Wallendorf Pont, you can walk approx. 500 metres to Ourtalstraße 1A.
