Campsite Ourtal-Idyll **** in Gentingen
Our 4-star campsite Ourtal-Idyll is located in the South Eifel Nature Park, about 4 kilometres from Vianden (Luxembourg). Gentingen itself is a small farming village with about 80 inhabitants surrounded by woods and meadows.
We are a medium-sized family business and emphasise a quiet and friendly atmosphere.
The campsite has a modern design, the pitches are arranged in circles, each comfort pitch has a water, waste water and electricity connection.
Our campsite is located directly on the border river ‘Our’. There are meadows along the river that can be used for sunbathing, playing football, volleyball and basketball, making campfires (by appointment) or for children to play.
There is also a playground, a covered recreation room and a table tennis table for children. A canoe trip on the international waters (Germany/Luxembourg) of the Our or the Sauer is a special experience. The beautiful countryside is ideal for hiking, cycling, mountain biking and Nordic walking. If the weather is not so good, no problem, public transport in Luxembourg is completely free and there are many sights to discover.
The sanitary facilities at our campsite are modern. Hot showers are included in the price. We also have a disabled toilet and a baby changing room. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available.
Skelters can be hired on site. Fresh bread rolls can be ordered daily. In the adjoining guesthouse we also rent out rooms with shower/WC and internet access via free Wifi throughout the campsite.
A jeu de boules court is also available.
